Studying The Urantia Book

Through symbols found at the end of paragraphs in this Study Edition, the text is linked to various study aid features. The symbol legend is shown at the top of each of the book's Papers.

For example, the first paragraph of Paper 1, The Universal Father, shows 4 symbols, meaning this paragraph references 4 study aids. The symbols represent the Old Testament, the New Testament, the Apocrypha, and one of the Sadler workbooks.
Clicking the first symbol, ✡ (representing the Old Testament as shown in the legend), opens a pop-up window of Old Testament references relating to this first paragraph. [If a pop-up window does not open it’s due to the browser's configuration. Try a different browser for the Study Edition (Internet Explorer, Safari, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox — all freely available on the internet)]
The pop-up window lists 7 Old Testament topics (see “Topical keywords from The Paramony” in The Paramony explanation below) that relate to this first paragraph, the first topic being “God created heaven and earth” with 19 links to various Bible books, chapters and verses referring to God creating heaven and earth in the Old Testament. The second topic, "No God beside you" gives 9 Old Testament references, etc.
Bible links are to the King James Version of the Bible. Many Bible verses end with the ∞ symbol which links back to The Urantia Book. Clicking that symbol produces a pop-up window of links back to The Urantia Book where that particular Bible verse is referenced.

The second symbol of paragraph one, † (representing New Testament references), produces a pop-up window of the three topics “God created heaven & earth”, “No God beside you”, and “Universes made by sons of God” each linking to books of the KJV New Testament.

The third symbol, ⊕, gives a pop-up for a link to a book of the Apocrypha for the topic “No God beside you.”

The fourth symbol, Ψ, is a link to Workbook Volume 1: A Study of Part I of The Urantia Book, for Paper 1 by Dr. William Sadler.
